The youth ministry at New Covenant is gospel driven. Everything we do is intentional; to establish faith in Jesus Christ, or to strengthen faith in Him. We accomplish having a gospel driven ministry by focusing on discipling our students with the purpose of students denying living for themselves, and instead living for Christ through the Holy Spirit's power. A student who is living out such a life will naturally be salt and light in the community through the transformation carried out by the Spirit. I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet you, please check out the information below.

Parents

We believe that you are the privileged recipient of God's calling to be the main spiritual leader in your teen(s) life. Our focus is to partner with you, and equip you to fulfill that wonderful calling. In the past this has fleshed itself out in the form of us helping parents pick out the right Bible for their student, finding resources for parents to study on issues they are dealing with (where do I begin in talking to my child about pre-marital sex???), or hosting parent events to help foster community among other parents just to name a few. However, our greatest tool is our weekly parent email. In this email you are not only informed about every event that is taking place in the youth ministry that week, but you are also given the "heads up" on what we are teaching so that you can bring that teaching home. To sign up for this parent email please click here email Taylor and let me know you want to be added to the list.

Students

The first thing we want you to understand is this; we have something you need! How can we make such a bold statement? You either don't yet have a relationship with Jesus Christ, and we can help you establish one...OR you have a relationship with Jesus and need to grow, and we can help you do just that. While our group of students are not perfect, we do aim to be like a family. We study together, hang out together, serve together, and go on trips together. We want our time together to be a good time. However, our primary focus is not having fun. Our number one goal is to better know Jesus. We believe God has designed that journey to sometimes be fun, but sometimes difficult, and sometimes serious, and sometimes laid back. So... come join us this week and see how rewarding a relationship with Jesus Christ is! Check us out on facebook to see pictures from our past events and get a better idea of who we are.
